Sažetak
Welding technology design is demanding and in most cases very complex job that could be speed up by adequate computer codes. This paper gives integral program for welding technology design wich consists of different subprograms (welding costs calculation, welding normatives, welding parameters, weldability assessment, calculation of procedure qualification records, welding procedure specifications, post weld heat treatment procedure ...) and different data knowledge basis (domestic references from field of welding techniques, failure case studies base, knowledge base for succesfully produced welding construction, cost effective weldability). Benefit of this approach to welding technology design is in shortening of time necessary to prepare welding technology and in decreasing different costs. Data basis also include important welding technology solutions from past. This approach enables application of former succesful processes wich could be lost. This experiences could be also used at new production processes, so some costs could be avoided and time to prepare welding technology could be shortened (examination of weldability, welding parameters optimalization, processes critical points ...).
