Sažetak
This chapter deals with postharvest treatments used to improve storage behavior of Satsuma mandarin. Production and importance of this crop in Croatia is given together with pre- and postharvest physiological changes in fruit. Special attention is given to heat treatments as an easy and effective method for improving storability. Our results with hot water dips (HWD) are also described.
