Sažetak
The synthesis of macrocycles from acyclic precursors has gaines enormous importance over the years, especially by virtue of development of supramolecular chemistry, in which macrocycles play a central role. Our presentation highlights the use of stannanthianes in macrocyclization reactions as well as their characterization and application in the synthesis of new macrocyclic poly(thiolactones)containing adamantane units.
