Sažetak
Genotype by environment interaction (GEI) is a topic of continuous interest for plant breeders. The logical part of the plant breeding process is the construction of genotype (plant variety) by environment (years, locations or both) two-way table with the variables important for variety evaluation. The AMMI model is a multivariate approach to the analysis and especially to the interpretation of GEI using biplots. We present a model on the sugar beet data set from the official Croatian variety trials for acceptance of new varieties.
