Sažetak
The main purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the bio-physical parameters of the standing shooting position of one of the top shooters, and then to compare them with the theoretical thesis found in the technical literature (Reiterer 1993, Buhlmann and assoc. 1997). The obtained results show that the standing shooting position of the subject is characterised by a somewhat larger angle between the upper arm and the forearm (45.5º ; ; ) than the theoretical angle (20º ; ; -35º ; ; ). This is compensated by moving the left hip towards the direction of the target. In that way a good support is created for the left elbow resulting in less straining of the left arm muscles. Furthermore, the angle between the right upper arm and the body is smaller (63º ; ; ) in comparison with the theoretical model. The lowered right elbow causes relaxation of the right arm and shoulder. The feet are slightely inversed too (3.5º ; ; ). If the toes were directed slightly more outwards, and the heels inwards, better functioning of the leg muscles would be ensured as well as their control over the body movements of the whole body what would finally ensure better balanced position.
