Sažetak
Conglomeratisation – consolidation is an inherent part of modern bank business. There are different causes, motives and methods of carrying it out. Under the impact of very dynamic market changes, bank consolidation has become a necessity, since in this way banks may increase their scope of operations, achieve good business results, increase efficiency, maintain and improve their market position. Bank conglomeratisation do not only include different forms of business integrations within the banking sector, but also integrating with other financial institutions, both on domestic and international financial market.
