Sažetak
This paper discusses the possibilities of environment visualization process simplifications, without reducing the image quality. Its primary focus are fixed-observer situations, like in gunnery or air traffic control simulators. For such situations, the photographic raster photography of the real terrain is used as a background, and artificial objects are rendered over it. An application like this can run either standalone or networked, on single or multiple screen PC&#8217 ; ; s with 2D and/or 3D graphics accelerators.
