Sažetak
This papaer deals with the application of a carrying capacity mathematical model, designed to evaluate the suitability of ten coastal inlets situated on islands in the upper Adriatic Sea fro mussel production and to estimate a potential production quantity. The results of this study are considered to be useful for the management of the coastal areas suitable for bivalve farming, especially in this case of island development.
