Sažetak
Constant growth of mobile devices usage and their communication possibilities led to the migration of e-commerce services and applications to these devices. These processes transform mobile devices into Personal Trusted Devices with the ability to handle a wide variety of new services and applications, such as banking, payments, ticketing and secure access-based operations. Many of these transactions are defined in local environments, at the point of sale, and they are initiated over a short-range wireless technology such as Bluetooth. In this paper we discuss the performance of Bluetooth wireless technology in the mobile local transaction environment.
