Sažetak
The goal of this study was to prove that, except existing caudal epidural anesthesia, exist and another possibilities of anesthesia of tail in cattle. Also the goal was to prove that regional intravenous anesthesia is not possible only on the leg, but on the tail. For this study 10 cows were used, aged 4 to 10 years. 12 ml 2% lidocaine was administered to all of the cows after placing an elastic bandage on the root of the tail. Loss of sensation was checked by needle puncture. Analgesia was appeared in 8, 7± ; 1, 49 minutes, and disappeared 10, 1± ; 3, 14 minutes after removing of elastic bandage. Regional intravenous anesthesia of tail is simple method, which would be used routinely daily
