Sažetak
The burial chamber of a prehistoric grave dating to about 600 BC, in the Jalžabet - Bistričak locality, was surrounded by a plateau covered with cobbles from the Drava River. On several of the cobbles, the impressions of fern leaves were noticed. Analysis of the best-preserved impression showed that the leaves were those of the species Pteridium aquilinum or Thelysperis palustris. Most likely, the plateau was covered with the leaves of the Pteridium aquilinum fern before being layered with cobbles, though the possibility that some other plant species were used cannot be ruled out.
