Sažetak
This paper explores the possibilities of individualized guitar decoration and the impact of such decoration on the performance of guitars. The research considers three ways to apply graphics to guitars. Using the technique of hand painting with oil paints on an acrylic surface, silkscreen printing and transfer technique by transferring laser printed graphics to the guitar. The method of applying graphics to the guitar and the influence of such decoration on the performance of the guitar are selected. Before applying the sample to the guitars, an audio sample is recorded and measurements are performed. The computer simultaneously performs spectral analysis via rapid Fourier transforms of sampling frequency and frequency range. The difference of higher harmonics is measured. Data and audio samples obtained before and after application using screen printing technique are compared. The research is conceived in two units ; selection of guitar painting techniques and the imprint itself and analysis of the impact of the print on the sound characteristics (performance) of the guitar.
