Sažetak
The key objective of the session is to present successful approaches tested within the EU BUILD UP Skills initiative and discuss how they could be scaled up at national level. These EU-funded projects are dedicated to upskilling construction sector professionals to deliver the energy transition in the built environment. These innovative approaches based on the principles of interactivity, gamification and digitization have received well-documented support and recognition, both from the training courses recipients and by representatives of key stakeholders (e.g. the Croatian MUZA project recently winning a National Geographic award for best practice in the educational sphere). Yet, they are still not sufficiently recognized by the relevant national policy instruments such as the National Long-term Renovation Strategies and they do not receive dedicated support for wide uptake within the national qualification frameworks. To bridge this gap, the session will target specific stakeholders’ groups, including EU and national policy-makers, professional chambers, education and training providers, NGOs and the media, so that the proposed examples gain the necessary visibility, achieve endorsement by key policy actors, and position themselves as leading candidates for introduction in the national Renovation Plans under the expected EPBD amendment.
