Sažetak
Obesity like main factor of risk bring to the formation of numerous infectious diseases. Decrease in body weight it can be achieved different strategies of losing weight, including intervention in lifestyle (diet and exercise) pharmacotherapy or bariatric surgery. The aim of this work is how in a certain time period to achieve change results which are obtained by anthropometric measurement (which indicates obesity) using proper nutrition, regular physical activity and by changing of lifestyle. Conducted examination is the part of project „For better health“, financed by the city of Ludbreg and the Varaždin County. The pattern contains 5 middle subjects (40 - 61 years) with high and middle education were included in anthropometric measurements by impedance scale (Tanita) which enables precise analysis of this body composition with tested parameters: body weight (kg) and high (cm), fat tissue (%), water content in total body weight - TBW (%), muscular mass (kg/%), bone mass (kg/%), level of visceral fat tissue, metabolic age, basal metabolic BMR (kcal), and body mass index - BMI. After reviewing the data from biometric results, a food diary was kept (which was kept by the test subjects) 10 days, and to each person was determined diet plan and daily physical activities which they were fallowed trough in period from 12.02.2022. to 08.06.2022. All collected data were analyzed in the SPSS 23 statistical program from IBM. Result received gives insight into the reduction body weight, valves BMI, fat tissue percent. The other measured valves are unchanged. All test subjects' BMI decreased - test subject 1: 11.57% ; respondent 2: 5.73% ; respondent 3: 7.62% ; respondent 4: 10.85% and respondent 5: 11.48%. That is, the body mass decreased by an average of 9.44%, the percentage of fat tissue by 12.48% and the muscle mass increased by an average of 4.46%. The other measured valves are unchanged. To ensure successful clinically significant loss of body weight from 5 - 10% it is needed overall intensive intervention of lifestyle (way of life) within 6 months. It includes diet modification by diet prescription with reduced calorie intake, improved exercise or body activity and strategies for stimulate off following up of recommendation about diet and body activity.
