Sažetak
Obnova dvorca Ars Eugenium, prvotnog vlasnika princa Eugena Savojskog, razotkriva tajne dvorca podignutog na prinčevu najvećem posjedu smještenom u Bilju. Utvrđeni biljski dvorac izgrađivao se od 1707. godine do 1712. godine, a u izgradnji je aktivno sudjelovao prinčev omiljeni arhitekt – Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt. Istraživačkom studijom „Dvorac Ars Eugenium – atraktorskom biseru ususret“ opisuje se prvo projektno razdoblje obnove dvorca Ars Eugenium kojemu su nositelji Osječko-baranjska županija i Općina Bilje. Riječ je o razdoblju započetom 2017. godine, a završenom koncem 2022. godine kada je dovršena i predstavljena tehničko- projektna dokumentacija obnove dvorca Ars Eugenium. Interpretiranjem prostora dvorca, njegove namjene i uloge, određen je budući smjer obnove dvorca Ars Eugenium. Autorice studije pritom posežu za vlastitom definicijom prostorne interpretacije čiji je cilj prenošenje ključnih povijesnih značajki u izričaj razumljiv suvremenicima te postizanje njihova poistovjećivanja s interpretiranim nasljeđem. Naglasak je na dostizanju poistovjećivanja s prinčevom osobnosti sukladno onodobnim navikama, običajima, povijesnim događajima, legendama i predmetima. Projekt obnove dvorca projicira širi i uži plan pri čemu je širi plan oslonjen na interpretiranje uloge dvorca u Atraktoru – prinčevu sustavu gradova utvrda, dok je uži plan usmjeren na poistovjećivanje s princem i prostornim prenošenjem iskustva „umijeća bivanja Eugenom Savojskim“. Širi projektni plan obnove dvorca Ars Eugenium obnavlja ideju atraktorske jezgre koju su činili dvorac Ars Eugenium, osječka Tvrđa, Petrovaradin i Segedin. Atraktor je naziv kojim se imenuje prinčev projekt sustava od 12 gradova utvrda izgrađenih u prvim desetljećima 18. stoljeća u današnje četiri europske države (Hrvatska, Mađarska, Rumunjska i Srbija). Zbog svoje dvojake uloge Atraktor se promatra kao a) atraktivna mirnodopska ogrlica (niska) gradova povezanih rijekama, ali i kao b) vojna linija razdvajanja. Uži projektni plan sažet je u imenu dvorca Ars Eugenium kojim se interpretiraju obnovljeni prostori dvorca s ciljem dostizanja „umijeća bivanja Eugenom Savojskim“. Prostori dvorca razdijeljeni su u pet cjelina od kojih je svaka funkcionalno povezana sa životopisom Eugena Savojskog, suvremenicima i povijesnim okolnostima. Poveznicu šireg i užeg projektnog plana čine ustanovljeni postupci brendiranja dvorca i komunikacijske strategije koja proizlazi iz poslovnih potencijala.

The reconstruction of the Ars Eugenium Castle, which originally
belonged to Prince Eugene of Savoy, unlocks the mysteries of the
castle erected at the Prince's largest estate, located in Bilje. The
Prince's favourite architect, Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt, took an
active part in the construction of the fortified castle in Bilje, which
began in 1707 and was completed in 1712. The research study “Ars
Eugenium Castle – Towards the Attractor Jewel” describes the first
phase of the project of Ars Eugenium Castle reconstruction, with the
Osijek-Baranja County and the Municipality of Bilje as project
promoters.
The first phase began in 2017, and ended in 2022, when the technical
project documentation for the reconstruction of the Ars Eugenium
Castle was completed and presented.
The interpretation of the Castle's spaces, and their designated
purposes and roles, defined the future course of reconstruction of
the Ars Eugenium Castle. The authors of the study used their own
definition of spatial interpretation, aimed at translating the essential
historical features into an expression that our contemporaries will
understand, and helping them identify with the interpreted heritage.
The emphasis is on achieving identification with the Price's
personality in line with the habits, customs, historical events, legends
and objects of the time.
The project of the castle's reconstruction conveys a broader and a
narrower plan, the former relying on the interpretation of the castle's
role in the Attractor – the Prince's system of fortified cities – and the
latter focusing on identification with the Prince and the spatial
communication of the “art of being Eugene of Savoy”.
The wider plan of the project of reconstruction of the Ars Eugenium
Castle revives the idea of an attractor core, composed of the Ars
Eugenium Castle, Tvrđa in Osijek, Petrovaradin and Segedin. The
Attractor is the name for the Prince's project of a system comprising
12 fortified cities that were built in the first decades of the 18th
century in four present-day European countries (Croatia, Hungary,
Romania and Serbia). Given its double role, the Attractor is seen as a)
an attractive peacetime necklace (string) of cities joined by rivers,
but also b) as a military separation line.
The narrower plan of the project is summed up in the name of the
castle, Ars Eugenium, which interprets the reconstructed spaces of
the castle with the aim of achieving “the art of being Eugene of
Savoy”. The castle's premises are divided into five units, each
functionally liked to the life of Eugene of Savoy, his contemporaries
and historical circumstances.
The wider and the narrower project plan are interconnected by the
established procedures for branding the castle, and the
communication strategy derived from business potentials.
