Sažetak
The woven fabric abrasion resistance is a prop- erty conditioned by its structural and construc- tional characteristics, raw materials and finish- ing processes. The surface of the fabric is de- fined by numerous parameters (such as weave, thickness, mass, thread density, yarn parame-ters and crimp), which directly affect the abra-sion resistance properties. Fabric abrasion oc-curs during material use, as a result of the ma-terial rubbing against another surface. This phenomenon causes the degradation of the material in the form of the gradual removal of fibres from the yarn, which ultimately leads to a decrease in fabric strength, as well as aesthet-ic appearance and functionality.
