Sažetak
Croatian National park Paklenica is dedicated to the protection of biodiversity and natural environments but during the last few decades, it is defined more than ever by its relationship to visitors and promotions of eco and adventure tourism. So, on the one side we have “fragility” of the nature, and on the other side this “fragility” serves as a selling point for “unforgettable unique experience” to visitors. In our research we explore the entanglements of these two sides to open up questions on what “fragility” does and can do in our postdigital historical present. We are interested in how is “fragility” of nature experienced by different visitors to Paklenica, how is it sensed and imagined. We are interested in its relation to the past and its potential for producing more capacious epistemological and political lenses for generating new sustainable futures.
