Sažetak
Nanoscale deviations from the average crystal structure can play an important role int he physics of quantum materials. In this talk, I will present state-of-the-art, powerful scattering methods that provide unprecedented insight into correlated inhomogeneity. Moreover, I will discuss the development of uniaxial strain cells for in situ neutron and x-ray scattering measurements, that enable manipulation of inhomogeneity and can lead to new physics.
