Sažetak
One of the most common consequences of heat stroke is rhabdomyolysis (RM), presenting as elevated myoglobin levels or as a life-threatening condition. We describe a case of a 27-year-old male patient with acute kidney injury due to RM treated with a combined Prismaflex M 100 filter and CytoSorb®. This resulted in a significant reduction in creatine kinase and myoglobin levels. After completion of the therapy, the patient's clinical condition had improved with the recovery of renal function and the establishment of normal diuresis.
