Sažetak
This paper examines integral ecology in relation to various social perspectives of the modern world, in which the concept of integrity in the sociological discourse is brought into relation between technostructures (industrial system) and ecosystems (nature). The growth of the world’s global conflicts and conflicts creates solid assumptions for asking questions about whether the time for cooperation, understanding, and agreement is coming with regards to the distinction between »institutional analysis« and »analysis of strategic conduct« (Giddens, 1987), in which Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’ is placed as the center of analysis of integral ecology that seeks a new culture of dialogue. In the paper, the concepts of »sustainability and »sustainable development« are placed in the context of an integral social system, which implies the possibility of integration, synthesis, and synergy between social and ecological, scientific and spiritual, economic and political areas.
