Sažetak
Ship digitalization and the associated introduction of various measurment systems generate massive amounts of data that must be transmitted in real time. However, maritime communication systems are still limited in terms of communication speed, capacity and reliability. Therefore, improvements in the maritime communication infrastructure are necessary. This work addresses one of the approaches for these improvements, which is based on the compressing the collected data with navigation and ship performance information.
