Sažetak
In this contribution we present the results of a study that clarified the difference between the critical energy release rate, the critical value of the J integral and the work of separation (the area under the traction-separation law of a cohesive-zone model) for the case of mode-I failure along adhesive joints, and we discuss more recent developments.
