Sažetak
For many countries financing new DAB technology presents a certain challenge arising from high public sector deficit and debt. Decision makers in the public sector have been facing budgetary restrictions along with significant market demand for new technologies. The solution could be found in private sector participation. The main aim of such cooperation is the risk and reward principle. Both the public and the private sectors retain their own identity and responsibility while the co-operation is based on clearly defined divisions of tasks and risks. The private sector has a new opportunity to raise maximum value for money while the public sector can deliver better quality of infrastructure at lower prices or same quality but with significant savings.
