Sažetak
One of approaches to the development of specialized software suitable for designing curved metasurface structures is to adapt an existing planar analysis tool for the considered scenario. This paper discusses extension methods based on estimation of either the EM field within the multilayer curved structure or on estimation of the equivalent metasurface current distribution. The problem of internal resonances that occur in closed canonical structures is studied and two methods to overcome this non-existing issue when analyzing open structures are discussed. The considered analysis methods are verified against an example design.
