Sažetak
The book has existed for generations as a medium of entertainment for those who like to explore by reading. Unfortunately, fewer and fewer students look forward to this activity and do not see in it the many advantages that it undoubtedly provides: expanding vocabulary, developing imagination and creativity, imaginary travel to distant real and fictional regions, interaction with literary characters, cultural growth and numerous other details. It is up to us as teachers to rise up to the occasion and find a possible solution to this problem. The project of making short video announcements of the read content proved to be a great success with the goal of developing interest and affinity towards such a very important activity. Not only did the students show their willingness to read the books in order to get involved in the process of making video materials, but they themselves became young creators of media content, developing within themselves the wide range of possibilities that a book as a medium offers, and a video as a medium achieves.
