Sažetak
We confirmed predominance of gram-positive bacteria in children with febrile neutropenia. We report low-resistance rates against antimicrobial agents currently recommended for empirical treatment of febrile neutropenia in children by international guidelines, especially meropenem. Further surveillance of pathogen distribution and antimicrobial resistance is needed to timely adjust empirical treatment.
