Sažetak
Cardiac CT and MRI represent important imaging modalities used for the comprehensive evaluation of the left atrium in various clinical settings such as thrombi, tumors, atrial septal defect and aneurysm, congenital anomalies etc., so every radiologist should be acquainted with the basic imaging protocols and findings. Our objective is to review the normal anatomy of the left atrium on CT and MRI in contrast with the most frequent pathology findings for a general radiologist in everyday practice.
