Sažetak
In the Kingdom of Croatia, after the Croatian noble elite families (of Bribirski, Cetinski, and Krbavski) had succumbed by the mid-14th century to the king’s direct military attack or at least his demonstration of military power, the rest of the nobility sought to resist the royal reforms by means of a more concisely designed political programme. It is this programme that allows us to follow the state-building in the Kingdom of Croatia as three-fold interaction between powerholders: from above, form below, and from the perspective of the organization of a composite kingdom.
