Sažetak
This paper aims to investigate the relationships among the nine institutional quality dimensions using perceptual measures in institutional quality evaluation in order to identify the effect of each quality dimension on the others in an institutional evaluation. Relationships of 9 quality dimensions in 78 institutional evaluations is explored quantitatively using Pearson correlation matrix. The results show that teaching quality dimensions are interrelated, as are the research dimensions, suggesting a clear separation of teaching and research characteristic of the institutions. However, the analysis points out that Full-time faculty adequacy is good predictor of perceived quality of teaching and research. Findings of the study are contributing to the evaluation of the institutional teaching and research nexus as well as to discussion on the role of peer-review in external quality evaluation schemes.
