Sažetak
Almost every business worldwide depends in some way on energy and natural resources. Both are related to the exploitation, processing of raw materials, transportation, and further utilization of products and semi-finished goods in the global marketplace. Industries closely related to energy and natural resources are highly dependent on resource availability, government regulations, technological development, methods and costs of exploitation, their efficiency, and environmental impacts. This paper defines the structure of global markets and international trade in energy and natural resources. The importance and impact of international trade in energy and natural resources and its influence on global markets are explained and examined. An analysis of the main trade aspects and the main statistics has been carried out using indicators that can provide a clear picture of the economic situation and employment in this segment of the economy. Through the analysis of global energy and natural resource markets, the impact of renewable energy and rare earths is also presented. In addition, the challenges and prospects of the global energy and natural resource markets are highlighted in this paper
