Sažetak
The lecture traces the beginnings of civic education in Germany after World War II. It describes the history of the Federal Agency for Civic Education, milestones of civic education develoments reflecting socio-historical and political contexts, working and ethical principles, the variety of on- and offline products and formats, as well as today’s priorities and challenges for civic education, with concluding remarks on civic education developments and controversies in Croatia.
