Sažetak
Our discussion is situated in the context of the capability approach and we contribute to the question of capabilities list-making. The fundamental question is: Must the list be founded as the response of theoretical (philosophical) reasoning, or of a democratic process? Our innovative contribution to the capability approach and the dispute regarding definitions of conditions as disability consists in offering a model of public justification of the capability list that is particularly sensitive to individual differences.
