Sažetak
Does capability approach do justice by imposing certain opportunities as essential for a good, dignified and fulfilled life? What happens if a certain group of people has no biological predisposition for a particular action and therefore for the possibility of action? People with autism spectrum disorders do not possess abilities for what is usually judged as proper social functionings, on grounds of psychological deficits in theory of mind and empathy. Does the latter withdraw that they cannot lead a fulfilled and dignified life without this capability?
