Sažetak
Students are usually required to complete teacher assessment surveys (SET – student evaluation of teaching) at higher education institutions around the globe. In some countries, focus is put on assessing teaching effectiveness with a view to influencing pay and promotion, but in fact such assessments are a part of broader quality management systems, with focus on enhancing teaching and as a reference for the creation of teaching practice. Within the DIP2Future project in this paper, some experiences and important points regarding the process of student assessment of teaching are highlighted which should be considered and discussed. The primary aim is to render such evaluations purposeful (for student, staff, management of the faculty), but still practical and feasible.
