Sažetak
Aside from the great progress in the field of human-computer interaction, witnessed particularly in the last year, in several application areas the need for the development of more suitable and adaptive communication between a human user and the system has been recognized. On the other hand, rapid progress of computer technology made of the computer a strong tool in education by and large, resulting in the development of emulators of human teacher &#8211 ; intelligent tutoring systems, as well as their generators &#8211 ; authoring shells. Our research is concentrated on user-centered, adaptive interfaces for computerized educational systems, and particularly on intelligent computer-aided tools such as authoring shells. In this paper we elaborate the relevant issues and requirements concerning the incorporation of adaptivity in an authoring shell's user interface.
