Sažetak
The article discusses the fate of the collection of twenty-two manuscript volumes which were supposed to serve as the basis for the first printed edition of Ragusan literary classics, envisioned in the second half of the eighteenth century by Carlo Antonio Occhi, the first printer-publisher of the Republic of Ragusa. The name of this unsuccessful publishing project was the Illyrian Parnassus. The bulk of this manuscript collection, previously unknown to scholars, is today preserved as part of the Arthur Evans bequest in the Special Collections at the UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies in London. The scribe who produced the collection is identified as Petar Bašić (1751- 1814).
