Sažetak
In his book The Crucified God, Jürgen Moltmann writes that in times of crisis, it is usually not possible to talk about only one particular vicious circle of death but about several of them - poverty, violence, racial and cultural alienation, industrial pollution of nature, feelings of meaninglessness and forgetfulness of God - which leads us to the conclusion that getting rid of these circles must have various discourses available to deal with them appropriately. One of the relevant vicious circles of death is the current migration and humanitarian crisis, the river of human tragedy that flows through our everyday life, reflecting humanity's helplessness and misery on its surface. This apathy has no end in sight. The problem of this crisis is multifaceted and requires all kinds of sociopolitical approaches to solving it correctly because it is a kind of humanitarian minefield in which no one feels safe, neither the seekers of help nor those who help them nor the local community where the refugees are located -- local people are afraid of foreigners, foreigners are fearful of local people, and groups consisting of citizens, volunteers and activists are trying to fill that void. This work is dedicated to such a group of people in the territory of the former Yugoslavia (but primarily in the region of the Republic of Croatia), who are acting from Christian positions, trying to fight the vicious circles of death in question.
