Sažetak
Connecting materials of different properties such as aluminum and copper can be achieved by powder metallurgy technology. This study analyses the problem of copper and aluminum joining, and the processes already used for their joining. In the experimental part, aluminum and copper samples were made using powder metallurgy with compacting by cold isostatic pressing. Before pressing, the powders were put into an elastic mold with a straight gradation between them, followed by samples with a mixed zone between the powders and completely blended powders. After the cold isostatic pressing process, samples of continuous bond of Al and Cu were achieved that were shaped on a milling cutter to make them suitable for microstructure analysis on a microscope. Tests on electrical properties were carried out, such as contact resistance and thermovision of the joint with a continuous electrical current flow, to test the possibility of using powder metallurgy in the electrical industry.
