Sažetak
During the previous years, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought considerable uncertainties and changes in our everyday life. Moreover, in Croatia, we have also faced several earthquakes, and unfortunately, we are still experiencing the consequences to this day. With that in mind, we have decided to dedicate this Conference to the relationship between stress and mental health, including the adaptation to extraordinary life circumstances. The Conference also addresses numerous other topics, such as coping styles of the individuals, the risk and protective factors of mental health, and different vulnerable groups during a crisis. Moreover, it highlights the development of resilience, characteristics of resilient individuals, psychotherapeutic work and the psychological well-being of mental health experts. This Book of abstracts shows the tremendous work done by a variety of experts to improve our knowledge and health care during the time of crisis.
