Sažetak
The expert manual for Guides of the Brijuni National Park is the second publication of the New Attire of Brijuni project implemented by the Public Institution of the Brijuni National Park within the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion (2014-2020). The text of the publication is divided into three thematically defined units - water, stone and island - which are also interpreted phenomena. The choice of phenomena for the thematic interpretation of the Brijuni Islands was based on the fact that water, stone and island, as naturally given elements, are a prerequisite that, with human influence, resulted in a cultural landscape, a kind of Brijuni microcosm. Local motives, of universal values, served here as a guiding principle in creating the story of Brijuni. The manual introduces the reader to a wider context in each presented attraction, thus placing it in space and time.
