Sažetak
It is well-known that the main drawback of nonFoster elements is their inherent proneness to instability. Although recent introduction of a band-pass non-Foster negative capacitor softened stability problem considerably, appropriate real-word applications are yet to be seen. To this end, a possible use of a band-pass non-Foster negative capacitor in impedance inverter is investigated. Preliminary analytical and numerical results show that is possible to construct a stable impedance inverter with a multi-octave bandwidth.
