Sažetak
Promising test results on the biological activity of our previously described naphtho-triazoles, obtained by the photochemical cyclization of 1, 2, 3-triazolostilbenes, prompted us to continue with the photochemical synthesis of new substituted electrocyclization products. At the same time, we investigated the mechanisms of E-Z photoisomerizations of the starting 1, 2, 3- triazolostilbenes and oxazolostilbenes followed by photocyclization via dihydro intermediates. In the current work, the synthesis of novel naphtho- triazoles and thienobenzo-triazoles by photocyclization is investigated in order to achieve complete conversion toward the targeted scaffold. Efficient photochemical methodology and isolated yields in photocyclization will be crucial for the application of these new naphtho- triazoles and thienobenzo-triazoles as potential acetyl- and butyrylcholinesterase inhibitors with the anti- inflammatory activity.
