Sažetak
All aspects of human health – what we feel – content, pain, suffering, happiness, are we functional mentally or physically, is influenced by the world we live in. Health or disease are phenomena which definition and comprehension are changed over the time, but we as a human kind are still searching what would be ideal state of health, and what are the factors influencing it. Unprecedented technological change that took place in past century enabled access to potable water and sewage, food, shelter and public health and medical care to a large number of people, increasing both life-expectancy and population growth. Technological prosperity made us believe that health and improved human lives, stems from the power of technology and economic productivity and gave us false promise that our collective state of wellbeing was assured. Only recently we realized that physical and biological nature of our environment is not constant and our actions and lifestyle influence both the health of future generations and the „health“ of our planet as well.
