Sažetak
We have measured the time- and angle-resolved cross section for Na(3 2p) atoms interacting with HF molecules in a crossed beam experiment. The reactive and the non- reactive channel are separated by the tif-me-oflight technique. The results indicate (a) two potentials to be involved in the entrance channel with well depths of about 115 and 375–540 meV, (b) the product center-of-mass distributions to be characterized by slightly asymmetric backward/forward scattering with an average of 1.15 eV as internal energyin the NaF molecule.
