Sažetak
The Fourth International Statistical Conference in Croatia - ISCCRO’22, with the topic: “Applied Statistical Methods – Current trends and issues “, was held from the 5th to the 6th May 2022 in Opatija, Croatia. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the ISCCRO’22 conference was held for the first time as a hyrbid conference (virtual online and onsite). Despite the new surrounding and online environment, the conference, covering statistical and related cross and multi-disciplinary fields, topics and areas, provided a platform for international networking and exchange of ideas on various aspects of theory and applications of statistics and related professional and scientific areas. At the ISCCRO’22 47 authors, coming from 10 countries, gave 23 submissions for presentation, 18 of them as Abstract Only and 5 of them as Full Papers, split in a variety of sessions during two conference days of presentations, two of them being Invited Lectures. The conference hosted the authors from Croatia, Finland, Italy, North Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and United Kingdom. The Book of Abstracts of the ISCCRO – International Statistical Conference in Croatia (Print ISSN 1849-9864 Online ISSN 2584-3850), contains two Plenary Speech abstracts and 21 contributed abstracts of the talks presented at the ISCCRO’22 Conference. Besides that, the Proceedings of the ISCCRO - International Statistical Conference in Croatia, published after The Fourth ISCCRO’22, held in Opatija, Croatia, 5- 6 May 2022, Volume 4, No. 1, 2022, includes 5 selected double-blind peer reviewed conference papers. The international Scientific Program Committee, which is the Editorial Board of the ISCCRO’22, includes 118 scientists and professionals, from all over the World, 60% of them being from outside of Croatia, which is the proof of the international importance of the ISCCRO conference.
