Sažetak
Vaccination of gilts and sows against porcine parvovirosis produces a high titer of specific antibodies which protect the embryo and fetus during pregnancy.In vaccination of breeds it is important to give priority to the inactivated vaccines because they produce a higher titer of immunoglobulins in colostrum, better protection of the sucklings. After vaccination with an oil (W/O/W) PARVOKAL vaccine the HI titer in the sera of gilts and sows on day 35 of revaccination w<s between 1280 and 10240. With this antibody titer the chain of infection is being broken because the replication and elimination of the virus is ceased.
