Sažetak
In this study, different manuscripts have been characterized. In order to understand their state of conservation, inks and paper supports were analyzed using non-destructive techniques such as: particle-induced x-ray emission (PIXE), x-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDS). Ultraviolet (UV) photography was used for ink differentiation and perception of ink migrations. The same methods are used to evaluate the efficiency of conservation treatments.
