Sažetak
Quantification of exhaust gas emissions presents a great challenge due to diversity of engine and marine fuel types, various operation modes and new stringent environmental regulations. Onboard measurements are necessary for developing the emission database, but there is also a need for validation of simulated values. This paper presents an analysis of measured emissions on three RO-Pax vessels sailing in the Adriatic Sea and simulated exhaust gas emissions that were obtained using the Wärtsilä-Transas simulator model of the RO-Pax vessel during the joint operation of the engine room and navigation bridge simulators
