Sažetak
This paper describes the immunogenicity of a special preparation of the Mareks disease vaccine HVT FC- 126 used in commercial Hybro fattening chickens. The vaccine which can be used resuspended in sterile distilled water, was administered to a group of 70 day- old chickens by use of ultrasonic nebuliser which generates particles of 2 to 7 microns size. Thirty unvaccinated chickens served as control. On day 10 post vaccination the viremia witf HVT was detected in test chickens. At the end of the trial at 42 days of chickens age the plaque reduction test using pooled undiluted sera revealed the presence of specific inhibition on HVT FC- 126.
