Sažetak
The paper addresses issues of training for providing psycho-social assistance to displaced persons and refugees as they developed within the period from the initial stage of response to the psycho-social needs of the displaced persons in Croatia (spring 1992) until the stage of relatively well established functioning of a comprehensive, well-defined psycho-social program for refugee and displaced women (summer 1995). The author describes a project of continual training for psycho-social work with refugee and displaced women provided to a group of Suncokret workers in collective centers aiming at empowerment of refugee and displaced women and protection of their mental health.
